South Zone Parks and Viewpoints

In this itinerary, we gonna be at the south zone of the city, in two beautiful parks, very little known and visited, with the opportunity to enjoy incredible panoramic sights.

The Catacumba Park has two view points that exhibits a panoramic sight of hills from Tijuca massif, including Corcovado, Pedra da Gávea, Dois Irmãos and even the Pão de Açúcar. Besides the massifs, we have an espetacular view of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the entirely south zone of Rio de Janeiro. This activit includes a light trail, about 30 minutes.

The Penhasco Dois Irmãos Park was founded in 1992 and is still very little known, both by tourists and cariocas. Exhibits espetacular view points, that offer an unique view of the main beaches and islands around. To access the view points of this park there's no need of trail.
